Game drives

EDEN CHALETS is well stocked with an abundance of game – over 20 species, ranging from the magnificent sable to the tiny steenbok – that can be viewed and photographed at close range during our game drives, undertaken early morning or late afternoon when the breathtaking beauty of nature at its best can be savoured. This is a photographer's dream. On each game drive we have at least one stopover presenting a fantastic view of the majestic Auas mountain range. On late afternoon drives you will also be able to indulge in and photograph our great Namibian sunset (weather permitting).

EDEN CHALETS boasts one of the largest collections of exotic parrots from across the globe, which can be viewed and photographed at leisure and in your own time. The same applies to our lovely herd of alpacas imported from Chile/Argentina as well as the rest of our large variety of ducks, geese, turkeys, peacocks, game fowl etc. Ground squirrels, mongoose and other exotic game play and roam freely in the vicinity of the chalets. Wild birds also abound in the area.

Close to the lapa with built-in barbecue is a lovely pool where one can cool down during the hot summer days or just relax with a refreshing drink.
