“ADAMS EDEN” was bought in 1987 by the current owner, a nature lover setting out on a lifelong dream to establish a game farm and breeding facility for exotic parrots. He started by erecting game fences and populating the land with various game species, many of which will not be easily found elsewhere in the country. Simultaneously a variety of exotic parrot species from around the globe were introduced, and a parrot-breeding establishment was born that grew from strength to strength to become one of the largest in Namibia. In a very short space of time, high-class self-catering chalets, rooms, a pool, a lapa with braai and many other amenities were built for our esteemed customers to use, and game drives were introduced to enable overnight and day visitors to view and photograph our game, parrots, turkeys, geese, ducks and other fauna, and our beautiful alpacas brought all the way from Argentina and Chile. Our latest addition to an already outstanding establishment is a high-quality venue hall, with kitchen facilities and fully licensed bar, that can accommodate up to 250 people for any conceivable gathering, in breathtaking surroundings. These amenities, along with services such as free wifi, make for top-class conferencing facilities. EDEN CHALETS has a spectacular view of the awesome Auas Mountains, whilst the Seeis River snakes its way across our land to fill the Kapp’s Farm dam merely meters from the chalets.
